Proven technology for continuous level measurement in liquids.
In hydrostatic level measurement in open tanks, the sensor measures the hydrostatic pressure generated by the liquid column depending on the level of the medium.
Especially suited to:
Hydrostatic pressure sensors for level measurement are used in virtually all liquid media: From water through to pastes and slurries. Even under difficult process conditions, the sensors may be adapted to applications in an optimum fashion.
- Unaffected by medium surface
- Unaffected by tank obstacles and the tank geometry
- Condensate-resistant Contite measuring cell or ceramic cell with high chemical resistancy

Hydrostatic instruments are unaffected by dielectric constant, foam, turbulences and baffles. The Contite measuring cell is resistant to climatic changes, it is watertight and long-term stable and shows optimized temperature shock behavior.
Process temperatures -70 to +400 °C (-94 to +752°F) and pressures 5 mbar to +400 bar (0.07 to +5.800 psi).
